What is
Stress Free UC +Health?
Stress Free UC +Health is a study being conducted by researchers at the University of California, San Francisco who want to better understand how a mindfulness and healthy eating program might influence stress and eating behaviors. We are testing methods to lower stress and promote healthy eating in hopes of finding new ways to support employee health.

Who can take part?
You can take part if you:

Are a UCSF employee
-
Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of at least 25
What will I be asked to do?
You may be asked to:
-
Complete up to 5 short surveys online
-
Answer short surveys in the morning and at night (10 minutes a day) for 14 days
-
Wear a Fitbit for 14 days
-
Meet with the study team at Parnassus two times
-
Meditate for 10 minutes each day using the Headspace app
You may also take part in a healthy eating program, involving an in-person counseling session and weekly at-home audio exercises.
Will I be paid?
You will receive:

A free Fitbit fitness watch

A free 1-year subscription to Headspace, a meditation app

One entry to a drawing for a 2-night hotel stay near Napa
